Jess graduated from Monash University in 2015, and has since worked as a physiotherapist in public and private hospitals, rehabilitation, private practice and community health.
Jess has a passion for Women’s Health, including treating a range of pelvic floor and continence conditions, and management of pre-natal and post-natal clients. She is passionate about educating women in all stages of their lives to empower them to make decisions that promote both their physical and mental well-being. Jess is available to complete internal pelvic floor assessments if required.
A triathlete herself, Jess is passionate about engaging clients in exercise to rehabilitate, but also prevent against future injury. She splits her free time between cycling, swimming and running, as well as doing some coaching for her triathlon club.
Jess believes that good physiotherapy treatment is holistic, addressing the physical factors such as muscle weakness, but also looking at lifestyle factors, such as workplace demands, diet and stress. She uses her own knowledge to address these issues, as well as putting clients in touch with other trusted health professionals if required.
Aside from when she is training with The Hurt Box., Jess loves to travel overseas or around Australia, surf in the summer and snowboard in the winter, check out every local cafe, and spend some time curled up on the couch watching a good series on Netflix.
